The processing of data connected to the use of the web services of this site, and to interactions with Miti S.p.A., takes place at the aforementioned operational headquarters and is only managed by data processors or by any persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations. No personal data are disclosed, except following specific consent.

Browsing data

 

During standard operation, the computer systems and software procedures used to run this website acquire certain personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.

 

This information is not collected with the intent of associating it with identified users but, by its nature, it may lead to the identification of visiting users through processing and association with data held by third parties.

 

This category includes  the IP addresses, or the domain names, of the computers used to connect to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the timestamp of the request, the method used to submit the request to the web server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the web server response status (successful, error etc.), and other parameters pertaining to the user’s operating system and IT environment. Such data are used only and exclusively to compile anonymous statistics on the use of the Website and to verify its correct operation.

 

It should be noted that the aforementioned data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the case of computer crimes against the Company’s website or to other sites connected to it: except for this circumstance, the data on Web contacts are currently not held for more than a few days.

 

Email addresses of MITI customers

 

The company may use email addresses provided by customers to send advertising material regarding services similar to that of the original commercial transaction. At any time, the customer may request the suspension of the transmission of such material by sending an email to info@mitigd.com.

 

Data provided voluntarily

 

The exchange of communications via email addresses, the forms on the site, the telephone or postal addresses of the Data Controller, or the direct contact with the Data Controller’s staff, involves the acquisition of personal data (such as name, surname, telephone number, email addresses, …) communicated by the data subject as well as the processing of data for the subsequent management of the requested service or for the management of the pre-contractual or contractual relationship that may arise.

 

The provision of data is optional, but failure to provide such data may make it impossible to establish and manage the described relationship. The legal basis of the processing is the execution of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the same (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of EU Regulation 2016/679 and Article 24, paragraph 1, letter b of Italian Legislative Decree No.  196/2003).

 

Except for legal obligations, personal data provided for such purpose shall be stored for a period not exceeding 10 years from the last contact with the data subject.

The data collected may be processed by Miti’s personnel or by third parties, such as:

 

companies that provide IT system maintenance services and website maintenance and management services;

associations, consultants, professional firms, companies that provide consultancy and support services to the Controller (including factoring companies, banks, work consultants, …)

 

The updated list of all data processors may be requested from the Data Controller.

 

MINORS

 

Miti S.p.A. does not knowingly use its website to request data from minors under the age of 18.

 

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

 

The subjects to whom the personal data refer can exercise their rights as provided for in art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 and articles 15 to 21 of EU Regulation 2016/679, in the manner established by art. 8 of Italian Legislative Decree No.  196/2003 and article 12 of EU Regulation 2016/679, and, as a result:

 

ask for access to, and rectification or erasure of, personal data or restrictions on the processing of their data and object to their processing, as well as exercise the right to data portability;

withdraw consent at any time, if the processing is based on Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a), without jeopardizing the legitimacy of the processing based on the consent given before withdrawal;

lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
